Dr. Darrin Jeffery is the founder of Jeffery Family Dentistry. Known for his kindness, compassion, and gentle approach, Dr. Jeffery has built a practice where patients feel genuinely valued and cared for.

Dr. Jeffery grew up in Delta, Utah, where he worked on his family's dairy farm. The early mornings and long days instilled in him a strong work ethic, honesty, and a deep appreciation for hard work — values that continue to guide his life and practice today.

A graduate of the University of Nebraska Medical Center College of Dentistry, Dr. Jeffery earned his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree with High Distinction. During his training, he was inducted into Omicron Kappa Upsilon, the national honorary dental society— an honor awarded to top graduates who demonstrate exceptional academic excellence, character, and professional integrity.

Since opening Jeffery Family Dentistry in 1997, Dr. Jeffery has remained committed to providing comprehensive and modern dental care for individuals and families. He loves exploring new dental technology and continually pursues advanced education to bring the latest innovations to his patients. His focus is always on improving patient comfort, efficiency, and treatment outcomes.

Dr. Jeffery’s clinical excellence and community impact have been recognized through multiple awards, including a “Best of the Best” Dentist award, as well as a humanitarian recognition for his compassionate service, charitable contributions, and acts of kindness toward those in need.

Outside the office, Dr. Jeffery enjoys spending time with his family, traveling, biking in the hills, and working in his yard. He has five children and many grandchildren — and growing! Whether he’s exploring new places or enjoying the quiet beauty of the outdoors, he values staying active and finding balance — time keeps him energized and ready to provide the best care for his patients.

I've been part of Jeffery Family Dental since June 2024, but my story with Dr. Jeffery actually started over 20 years ago when I worked for him as a fill-in assistant. It's fun to see how life has come full circle!

I haven't been assisting all those years, though. I fell in love with the nutrition and fitness industry, created my own weight loss program, and have had the privilege of helping thousands of women in our valley find confidence in themselves through health and fitness.

Even though I still love training, I absolutely love being back in dentistry and working with the amazing team at Jeffery Family Dental. My goal is to help every patient feel comfortable in the chair, heard, and fully informed about their treatment

I joined Jeffery Family Dentistry a little over a year ago, and I’ve been learning something new every day since. I love being part of a team that supports each other and truly cares about our patients.

People usually describe me as upbeat and easy to talk to. I enjoy helping patients feel comfortable and making their visit as stress-free as possible — especially the ones who admit they hate the dentist (don’t worry, you’re not alone).

When I’m not in the office, I like spending time outside, cuddling my kitties, and — yes — caffeine is pretty much my personality at this point. I also love all things fashion, whether I’m putting together an outfit or hunting for my next favorite find.

I’m grateful to be growing in a place where we truly feel like family, and I look forward to getting to know every patient who walks through our doors.

I joined Jeffery Family Dentistry in February 2022 as a part-time employee… and then never left. What started as a “we’ll see where this goes” turned into the full-time job I honestly love. The best part? I get to work with coworkers who feel more like friends (the fun kind, not the “we only talk about spreadsheets” kind).

Before dentistry, I studied Radiologic Sciences at Weber State University and worked in diagnostic imaging. I’ve always enjoyed helping people, but here I get to connect with patients on a more personal level—laugh with them, cheer them on, and sometimes even talk them down from their fear of flossing.

And if we’re sharing important personal details: Outside of work, I love adventuring with my husband—whether that’s hiking somewhere new, hopping on a spontaneous weekend trip, or just pretending we’re outdoors while holding iced coffees.

For the past four years, I’ve had the privilege of being part of the Jeffrey Family Dentistry team. I handle “all things office” — from scheduling and billing to keeping the front desk running smoothly. I take pride in staying organized, paying attention to details, and helping create a smooth and welcoming experience for every patient.

I love working with the incredible team at Jeffrey Family Dentistry and appreciate the supportive, family-focused environment of our office. I especially enjoy building relationships with patients and value the kindness and trust they show each time they walk through our doors.

Outside the office, I love spending time with my husband and kids, enjoying family life in the country. Whether we’re soaking up quiet mountain views or making memories together outdoors, it’s the simple things that bring me the greatest joy. I’m grateful to be part of a team that feels like family and look forward to many more years of serving the wonderful patients of Jeffrey Family Dentistry.

Hi, I’m Cheyenne Sudweeks, RDH. I’m a compassionate dental hygienist who loves helping patients feel comfortable, confident, and cared for during their dental visits. I’ve been in the dental field for 18 years and have spent the last 12 years practicing as a Registered Dental Hygienist. I combine strong clinical skills with a friendly, down-to-earth approach to make every appointment a positive experience. I’m passionate about educating patients and building genuine relationships based on trust.

Outside of work, you’ll usually find me with my family—at a rodeo, trap shooting, or working on a woodworking project in the shop. The hands-on, hardworking lifestyle I enjoy at home inspires the way I care for my patients every day.

I graduated from Fortis College in 2014 and have been a dental hygienist for over 11 years. I joined the Jeffery Family Dental team in 2024, and I love being part of a practice that values both oral and overall health.

I’m passionate about helping patients improve their health through better oral care. While I love a good teeth cleaning, my favorite part of my job is building genuine relationships with my patients.

I’m originally from Moab, Utah, and I grew up staying active in multiple sports. I met my husband, Jason, while attending Snow College. Jason was born and raised in Richfield, so we were thrilled to bring our family back and raise our three children in the community we both love. As a family, we enjoy spending time outdoors, staying active in sports, and traveling whenever we can. Above all, I love being a mom and cherish the adventures and everyday moments I share with my family.

Hi, I’m Sydney Blackburn, a Registered Dental Hygienist with over a decade of experience. I graduated from Utah Tech University in 2013, where I received top academic honors and the Community Service Award.

I’m passionate about preventive dentistry and love helping patients feel comfortable and confident in their oral health. I’m skilled in periodontal therapy, nitrous oxide administration, digital radiography, and patient education. My goal is to make every visit a positive experience.

Outside of the office, I spend most of my time with my kids, cheering them on at their various sports and activities. Our family stays busy, and I wouldn’t have it any other way.

I am a registered dental hygienist with a deep commitment to helping patients feel comfortable, confident, and informed about their oral health.

I graduated from Weber State University in 1993 with a BS in Advanced Dental Hygiene. I graduated at the top of my class, Magna Cum Laude, and was inducted into Phi Kappa Phi, the National Honor Society for dental hygiene. Out of my 32 years of work experience, I have spent the past 23 working at Dr. Jeffery’s office.

With extensive experience in periodontal assessment, radiography, anesthesia administration, and preventive care, I focus on providing thorough treatment customized to each patient’s needs. Throughout my career, I have helped establish and develop hygiene programs in both Sevier and Wayne counties. I enjoy being part of dental teams where collaboration and communication make a real difference for patients.

Educating patients is one of the most rewarding parts of my work. I make it a priority to explain what I’m doing and why it matters. My goal is for every patient to leave feeling empowered and confident about their dental care at our office and their oral health care at home.

Outside of work, I enjoy playing pickleball, sewing and quilting, spending time with my family (including my 12 grandchildren), and community service.

Hi, I’m JaLee Eliason, a Registered Dental Hygienist — and I absolutely love what I do! I’ve been in dentistry for 18 years, and I’m still just as excited about helping people feel confident in their smiles as I was on day one. I’m licensed in Utah and have completed national board, WREB, and anesthesia certifications.

I enjoy getting to know each patient, educating them on oral health, and providing thorough, gentle care. I truly love my patients — building relationships with them and being part of their health journey is one of the best parts of my job. I also love working with our team — we keep things positive, supportive, and always focused on creating the best experience possible.

When I’m not in the office, you can find me cheering on my kids at their sports and activities. I also never say no to a good cup of tea — it’s my happy fuel. Family time is my favorite, and my kids keep life fun and busy.

I feel lucky to make a difference in people’s lives every day — one smile at a time.

Colleen Mills has been an invaluable part of the Jeffery Family Dentistry Family since 1999. As our very first dental hygienist, she helped establish the strong patient-focused care our office is known for today. For more than 25 years, Colleen has combined clinical excellence with a genuine passion for building lasting relationships with her patients.

Colleen is known for her honest, straightforward communication and her natural kindness. She treated each patient like a long-time friend, creating a level of trust and comfort that made people look forward to seeing her at every visit. In the office, she brought laughter, humor, and just the right touch of spice—keeping her coworkers smiling and the workday fun.

The office will feel a little quieter without her quick wit and sharp humor, but the memories and stories she leaves behind will keep us smiling for years.

We support her as she shifts her focus to herself and the moments that matter most, both for her and her family.
